Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
