In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
